DEAR SMBC SUPPORTERS,

We are so excited about the 2022 summer camping season! Currently, there is a significant amount of work that is being done to prepare the camp for the arrival of all summer campers. A significant amount of work has been completed on Magnolia and Flying Squirrel. We want to express a tremendous amount of gratitude to the East Main Church of Christ in Murfreesboro for their help and investment in making the repairs to both Magnolia and Flying Squirrel. Cabin sponsorships are great ways for congregations to get involved at SMBC. Not only does SMBC benefit when congregations get involved, the congregation itself can see greater involvement from its membership. If you have members looking for something to do, SMBC can use them!

We currently have an open week. The week of June 26-July 1 is open and available. If you would like to speak with someone about the availability of this week, please contact the camp office at 615-563-4168.

At the most recent Board of Director’s meeting, the Board spent a great deal of time dreaming about the future, thinking of possible facility upgrades, and praying for God’s blessing on each and every camper that will come to the mountain. We believe that the 2022 camping season will be the biggest yet in terms of overall numbers, but also the number of people who give their lives to Jesus in baptism. Would you pray with us? Would you support us financially? Would you volunteer skilled trade?

We need your partnership. Without the help of our supporting congregations, SMBC could not thrive. We greatly appreciate you. If you are a congregation looking to get involved in a Bible camp, we would love for Short Mountain Bible Camp to be your home.
