2021 Update

2020 was a hard year. None of us could have ever imagined a year like we have lived through. We hope that you are healthy. We are also prayerful that you are still serving the Lord with everything you can right now.

SMBC has also had a very different year than we expected. For the first time in decades, we did not hold camp due to COVID-19. While that decision was difficult, we still believe it was the right one. As you can imagine, this has created some financial complexity. We had a healthy savings strategy for such a time as this. As we move forward to 2021 and are planning for the best summer yet, we would humbly ask for your help.

Any financial assistance you or your local congregation could make will help ensure we make it through 2021 and continue the great tradition and mission of Short Mountain. We believe God has great things in store! We would be honored if you would continue to partner with us in our mission. Any donations can be sent directly to camp at 650 Bible Camp Road Woodbury, TN 37190. All donors will receive a receipt for your tax purposes.

If you do not have the ability to help by donating directly, there is at least one other option. We have decided to sell sweatshirts this year to help raise funds. Please help us by purchasing one and wearing with pride to show the world how much we love SMBC and how God has blessed our lives with the experiences here. You simply go to the camp website and use the link “Register for Summer Camp” and log in to your account. Once you have logged in, select “Make a Reservation.” You then can select anyone under the title “Make a new individual reservation for:” and select “Sweatshirt.” You will see the different sizes available. Click on the box(s) beside the sweatshirt(s) you would like to order. You can also adjust the quantity if you want more than one of the shirt sizes you have selected. You can then select the location you would like to have your shirt delivered. We will deliver the shirts to a location near you and you will be notified of a day and time to pick up your sweatshirts. If you select “Ship to my house” please note there is an $8 charge per shirt. You’ll need to select that option and input the total number of shirts you have ordered in the Qty. box. Once finished, click “Next” on the bottom right hand side of the page. Then you can select “Review items in my cart and checkout.” Click on the “+” sign next to “Sweatshirt” to confirm your order, then you can click on “Proceed to Payment” on the bottom RH side of the screen. The 2020 sweatshirt will be special as we have never offered this option. Hopefully, we will not have to in the future. Get them while you can!
