April 2017 Update

Dear SMBC Supporters,

Are you ready for SMBC 2017? We are so thankful for all of our supporters. The staff at SMBC is constantly overwhelmed by the amount of financial and spiritual support we are showered with. Over the first quarter of this year we have had the opportunity to meet with many of our supporting congregations and individuals. The stories of how the camp has shaped so many families continues to inspire our work.

We have a big summer planned!

We are excited to share with you how we have spent the first quarter of 2017.

1. Work on the NEW Outdoor Pavilion is wrapping up. Our hope is that this facility will be useful as a chapel/worship space for all of our weeks. This facility will have the ability to seat up to 350 people. So we welcome you to invite as many people as you can.

2. We are working on other minor upgrades which include new ramps in front of the Canteen as well as the deck.

3. We hope to complete other minor ascetic things around the center of camp before the season begins.

We also want you to know that each camper will receive (1) a free SMBC T-Shirt as well as a (2) a $10 Canteen card just for attending this year.

As always, we want to express our thanks to each of our supporting congregations. Without the monthly/budgeted support from Churches in Middle Tennessee, we could not operate. We also want to thank each individual that contributes to the camp. Without individual support, camp would not be possible. If you are not currently a monthly contributor, we would humbly ask for your consideration. No amount is too small to make an impact in the ascetics and safety of camp. No amount is too small to make an impact in the spiritual growth of over 1500 people a year!

We are excited to show you the progress we are making at SMBC. See you for camp!
